Composer, conductor, clarinetist and teacher, Javier Pérez Garrido has been awarded more than 20 prizes, including the Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals at the Global Music Awards and the nominations to the Hollywood Music in Media Awards or the Jerry Goldsmith Awards, among others. Music institutions and musicians around the world, such as the International Trumpet Guild, the European Union Youth Wind Orchestra, or the Banda da Armada Portuguesa have commissioned him to write new pieces, some of them published and recorded in Cd´s (Molenaar, Cimarron Music Press, Egge Verlag, Piles), and his compositions have been premiered and performed in European as well as American and Asian countries. As a clarinetist he played with the European Union Youth Wind Orchestra, the Spanish Youth National Orchestra or the Murcia Youth Orchestra, among others, and as a soloist we can highlight his performance at Fifteen Minutes of Fame, New York.
